08762 undergoes maintenance and cab refurbishment at Great Yarmouth

RMS shunting loco 08762 which is currently based at sister company’s Great Yarmouth Vauxhall carriage sidings site has been undergoing maintenance work including complete refurbishment of the driving cab and fitment of TPWS train protection and warning system. The work has involved removal and replacement of the cab floor and a full rub down and repaint of the driving desk and pipework. A new anti-slip lino floor has also been fitted in the cab as well as some further waterproofing of the windows.
